Lemmings

Well, I would suggest getting the Windows 95 Version of Lemmings. It comes with Lemmings Paintball, even if it doesn’t say it does. If you get Lemmings Paintball, go into My Computer, right click on the disk drive with Lemmings Paintball in it, click open. Then go into the folder “WINLEMM”, then double click on “LEMMINGS.EXE”. It is just like the original Lemmings, only you can use the p key to pause it, you can fast-forward, and zoom in, and also view it at a higher resolution.

If you are extremely frugal, and don’t want to buy something new, you can get the original Lemmings to work with DOSBox version 0.65. There is a link to the DOSBox site on the main page of this site. Just download and install DOSBox. Then go into the folder you installed it into, and replace the file “dosbox.conf” with this file http://www.millerpla.net/lemmings/dosboxfiles/dosbox.conf  Then run Lemmings in DOSBox. Or you can use a .bat file to run it, make one that looks like this:

“address of dosbox.exe” “address of Lemmings.bat” -exit

Use whatever settings are default, (Hit ENTER twice) Then the game will load. It needs to be windowed until you get into the level then you can make it fullscreen.
